365 days ago.....

365 days ago, the weather forecast was light snow expected throughout the day. Peach and I spent 11 hours at the hospital waiting for what we thought would be a quick "break of the waters" and I had spent over 5 hours bouncing on a birthing ball, attempting to bring on labour. Little did we know that our latest little lady was quite comfortable where she was for that day!

At 12.04am on January 22nd 2012, I sent a text to Peach (who was tucked up at home in bed) saying "Be prepared, waters have just broke". At 12.14am, the next text was "Get here, quick!"

Peach was quick to get to the hospital and knowing how my previous pregnancies have been, he casually strolled into the labour ward thinking he was having to prepare himself for a long night of supporting his wife in labour. 38 minutes later and with no time for pain relief we welcomed our 4th little lady to the world!

Ashleigh Jane was born at 1.13am on Sunday 22nd January weighing 8lb 1.5oz.

Aj has completed our family; she's added that final piece to our puzzle. She's cheeky, has a gorgeous smile, there's a sparkle in her eyes and she adds an element of destruction to our family ;o)

We are extremely lucky to have 4 daughters that are beautiful and such individual characters. They keep me on my toes, we live in an abundance of pink and I love every inch of them.
