Blues

Early start today after a lovely weekend away. Mum kindly offered to come to the Food Hub with me but because of all the road closures in town, it took us about 50 minutes to get to North Shrewsbury. We were slightly disappointed to find very little in the way of fruit and veg, but a glut of bread and flowers. Such is the nature of the Food Hub. We managed to give most of it away at church but somehow I still ended up with a house full of flowers and bread. I probably can't eat all the bread but at least my house smells nice.

Becky popped over in the afternoon to take some bread and flowers and stayed for a long chat and a coffee. It's so lovely to have a home that people can drop in to.

A healthy dinner after a weekend of indulgence and a relaxing evening ready for work to start again tomorrow. Post holiday blues out in force.
