The Secret Garden

We planned the visit to Eden Court to see The Secret Garden with the Brownies along time ago.A lot of planning and organising but it was worth it.
A cleverly told adaptation of one of my favourite stories. Just three actors who changed roles throughout with several simple custom changes.The stage became The Secret Garden with flowers revealed from crates and a garden backdrop.Puppet mice, a rabbit, Fox and of course a robin all appeared. It was great to see the girls so engaged. I had made story bags so they each ( 27 of them !) received a book,a key and robin and it was nice to see them getting their items out when they appeared on stage.
We were given a few programmes that were printed on card that had seeds running through it so we’ll plant them and transfer them into the allotment :)
Mike went to see the film The Lighthouse while I was busy and I had enough time to enjoy a latte before he came out.
Horrible rain when we came out.Had a MacDonalds on the way home :)
