A very hard overnight frost....

led to difficult, icy underfoot conditions but the sun made everything look wonderful. 
The birds seemed to think it was Spring as there was a Woodpecker drilling, nine Mute Swans and a pair of Goldeneye on the loch, a Mistle Thrush  singing in the top of the Pine and Treecreepers feeding on the bark.
It was lovely!
