Water damage

Fortunately we didn’t have major flooding, like many here in the uk, but the area above our new kitchen window leaked rather badly and affected the paint on the inside.  I think the water may have been coming through the stonework higher up the wall rather than through the frame and it only happens when we have a wind that drives the rain horizontally.  We’ll need to get it checked out when this weather calms down a bit.  I thought I’d take this close-up before it all gets knocked off the wall.

p.s. most of the tulips have gone into the compost bin now.
