What a lot

Paid a visit to the local auctioneers this morning. We've been in Downham for 2 years now and never got round to checking it out. As soon as we got there I remembered why I probably hadn't. Auctions bring out the "old cynic" in me, as MrsW would say. I wonder how much of this stuff leaves the auction room and does the round of antique shop to antique shop or car boot to car boot, depending on its status, and then finds itself back in the auction room 6 months later. Still it could be very handy for clearing out the garage come the spring.
