Circle in a Spiral

Still raining and a bit lacking in blip mojo! A quick nip out ot the pond and some nice patterns going on, circle in a spiral!

Last night's film  Monos  - hmm, one of those where you emerge a bit dazed and confused with a splitting headache. It was incredibly loud, a jarring score, and quite a lot of the camerawork was hand held and wobbly. Set possibly in Columbia, during an unspecified war, a group of teenagers were being trained up and were required to guard an American hostage. It was all about their group dynamics as they become increasingly feral. Yes, very Lord of the Flies, there was even a pig's head. Extraordinary landscape, no real empathy or understanding of the characters, not much of a plot and one of those infuriating endings that just end. A bit confusing as are the reviews - some people really loved it and others were unmoved, irritated and deafened!
