The Wings of a Butterfly
Last week a number of my photographer friends (we took a photography course and have kept in touch since) took a photo walk to honor Lucas Collins, grandson of one of our group, who lost his battle at age 9 months. Lucas was born with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB). EB children are known as butterfly children because their skin is as fragile as the wings of a butterfly.
I was unable to participate at the time, but when I saw the topic “pairs” for the 52Frames challenge, I immediately thought of my butterfly hair clips. So this week’s photo is in memory of Lucas.
