Liberty Tree

At the risk of being perceived as a bit divisive, I present the plaque commemorating the location of Boston's Liberty Tree in honour of Blipfoto's esteemed founder, Joe Tree. 

(Divisive because the Liberty Tree was an elm under which a group of Boston business men gathered to plan the protest of England's Stamp Act in 1765 -- defiance which sprouted the seed for the American Revolution in 1766.)

Anyway, my profound thanks and appreciation to Joe and to all those who now keep Blipfoto alive and kicking.  It has been an integral part of my life every single day for the past seven years, and I hope it remains so for many more to come!
