A visit to Oxford

Today we drove to Oxford to meet an old friend from Hampshire - we worked out Oxford was roughly half way.

Unfortunately it was cold with drizzling rain so we didn’t wander the streets for long. After meeting for coffee we had a quick look at the Bodleian library ( extra) , Balliol College pictured in the blip, and we then took cover in the Ashmolean museum which appealed to our friend Nick - he has a great interest in old clocks and there were plenty to see.
