Nucular

Went on a tour of Nucleus: The Nuclear & Caithness Archive today.  As well as housing the archives for Caithness, it will house the nuclear archives of the UK.  As well as seeing Caithness records displayed in the search room, we went behind the scenes into one of the strongrooms.  Rolling shelving isn't overly exciting, but as it's a secure building the area is usually inaccessible.

The building itself has won various architecture awards, and is triangular.  This pic shows the pointy end, where the entrance is - the 'wall' on the left is actually a screen leading down to the doors.
