Crumpet Day!

I heard on the radio this morning that it is International Crumpet Day! I didn’t need any more of an excuse than that! Into my shopping trolley they went when I was at Waitrose today! They are a rare treat but I do love them!

After my 6 days of flying (two round trips to the US) I was pretty tired today. I did manage to meet some friends for coffee this morning, followed by a quick trip to the egg farm and to Waitrose on the way home. The sun came out long enough for me to have a cup of tea in the garden. I caught up with the skiing I’d missed yesterday, did some laundry, took a nap and then felt totally groggy all evening. A perfect first day back at home.
