2020 Tuesday — From the Top

I want to remember this day, so even though these two photos are inferior in quality, I’m going to use them. I was reaching as high as I possibly could to capture the sight of Estero Bay quite a distance below me. Moisture in the air hinders the quality of the photo.

We drove out Prefumo Canyon Road which leads to See Canyon and then onto Avila Beach. The road, which is narrow and in some places not paved, travels along the top of the mountains between Los Osos and Avila Beach.

It was not our first time on that road. It was definitely worthwhile. After Avila, we drove south to Shell Beach then further south to Pismo Beach, then east on Price Canyon to Edna Valley which boasts with wineries.

Then we headed toward SLO (San Luis Obispo) and then the next 14 miles west to Morro Bay and north to Cayucos.
