Sitting very quietly

I wanted to go for a walk this morning but the rain arrived earlier than expected.

This male Greater Spotted Woodpecker sat on the feeder for more than ten minutes without moving.  I wondered if there was or had been a Sparrowhawk in the vicinity because apparently Sparrowhawks can only see moving object.
