The Rendezvous Challenge

A bit exhausted now. Our  church is having a Passion for Life mission this week and today was the turn of the seniors rendezvous. Their ice-breaker challenge was to stop the tissue paper from getting wet. They had elastic bands, chenille pipe cleaners, 2 paper cups, a sheet of paper with instructions, tissue paper and cotton wool. 
we started the day with coffee and pastries, lunch at 1pm and afternoon tea.  these were the only pictures i took all day as I ended up helping in the kitchen. 
The electric went off a couple of times momentarily which upset the dishwasher which put the program out so it had to be drained and restarted.  That was a pain as it takes 30 minus to reheat the water before it can be used and the person doing the washing up was impatient. So I threw her out of the kitchen and did it myself!!!!!  Much quicker that way. busy day tomorrow too for us
