Post Office Drama

A windy dull morning.  The sun came out in the afternoon, along with wintery showers.  Wind picked up, and the showers got more frequent this evening.

Another day working on the museum desk.  We've had  a busy day, the schools are closed for a long weekend.  Plenty of families in looking for things to do.  Me and Sammy have managed a walk this evening, but we did get caught in a shower.  Warmed up by the fire, and telly on.

Da Street is going through some rough times.  Various shop premises empty, two clothes shops due to close very soon, Da String cafe closing, and my old workplace ,Captain Flints also due to close.  Along with this, the Post Office is closing it's door in the old building, which it had been in for over 100 years, and moving to this new premises.  It'll not bother me, but it does lack disability parking, and not as accessible for deliveries etc.  The street has changed over the years, just hope it can survive now.  Taken at Commercial Street, Lerwick.
