Hail!

It rained today, it rained most of the day, except whilst we were sitting in Nero when to great excitement amongst the customers, and much phone camera clicking (do phone cameras click?), we had a heavy hail storm.

As we were sitting in the window so we had a front row view, this is my phone camera effort.

In other news: I paid my second visit to Specsavers to have a follow-up examination, after the application of drops.  The good news is that all is OK, I've just had a bit of movement of my eye jelly causing occasional interesting cloud floating.  Apparently, as I said yesterday, it comes with aging, which obviously I am!

Back home I made a roasted butternut squash soup, very tasty.
