Bike

The estate agent suggested that, since I can't park my bike at work, I could use my travel allowance to pay for a parking space.

It would be irresponsible to do such a thing and post about it on the internet, but it would be rude not to at least investigate the possibility, so I had a look on the way home from work tonight.

It was only when I looked that I saw bikes crammed into every space available - between houses, in flower beds, everywhere. I also saw a car park with only three parking spaces. Parking is the biggest scam since private property.

There are big signs everywhere showing the whole of the city centre marked off - you cannot park bicycles here. Seems a stange policy if you want to reduce congestion, but there you go.
