Leave Some for the Birds!

Living here in Bedfordshire I am lucky to have these muntjac deer visiting my garden everyday. Muntjac first escaped, and some say were deliberately released, from Woburn Park in Bedfordshire in the early 20th century. They are so numerous around here now that it is rare for a day to go by without seeing one. They even have a tendancy to stand on the side of the road watching cars go by.
Lovely as they are, they do have an annoying tendancy to browse every shrub from the ground up to about 1m high, not ideal in the garden.
Whenever we get deep snow they always emerge to snack on the bird seed. This shot was taken through the patio window so not as crisp as I would like.
Apparently they have reached as far north as Humberside with occasional sightings up to Scotland.
