The Dark Side

The Venice Festival, for another year, will be over next Tuesday. Although most of the pictures you see are full of colourful costumes, as a contrast, I like this picture I took a number of years ago which I have edited today  using the Tuxpix reflection process with a painterly touch. These figures in the mist at the edge of the lagoon conjour up the dark side of life! The spectre of coronavirus hangs in the air. In fact, the Festival has just announced an early shut down in light of cases of infection appearing in Northern Italy.
