Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 146
This is the kind of flotsam that is never there when it could be really useful eg my second anniversary of blipping in August 2014! Not sure how this helium birthday favour found its way onto the Portobello surf this snowy and bleak morning. Had it been an 18th Birthday balloon I would not have been surprised!
The snow is settling on land above 100 ft. There is very heavy snowfall on the hilly routes south of Edinburgh. The easterly gales have swept a small flotilla of 13 vessels back into the Forth for sanctuary. The ones in this shot are a Dutch tanker and a Methil registered general cargo craft.
I am enjoying running on Portobello Beach, again, after our Polish travels.
