Water, water everywhere!

The two main storms may have drifted away, but the Atlantic weather keeps piling in, bringing more and more rain onto soaking wet ground...

This is the view of the confluence in Cockermouth, where the river Cocker joins the river Derwent.

Our riverside cottage is just a few hundred meters away from here.

Fingers crossed that the weather will settle down soon.
