Sharp!

This is New Fetter Lane, not far from Faringdon.  I walked down there a couple of weeks ago and was quite amazed at the architecture.

And the contrast with the Maugham Library, in the background, is almost shocking.

Not long after I took this photo I was ensconced in a lunchtime session with old chums.  The wine bill reflected the number of bottles (five) and its organic label – none of us had anticipated the scale of the session.
