Frozen...

...daisies, part II. Last night I decided to freeze the last of my daisies. I tried stacking them closely together, then stuck them into a medium sized zip-lock bag with water in it, snapped the sides up to the stems on either side to hold the stems in place, and then stuck the zip-lock into a bowl just so it would stay upright. I wasn't sure how well it would work, but when I took the flowers out of the bag this morning I liked it. When I took the chunk of ice outside and stuck it in a snow bank so I could photograph the flowers, the sun just lit them up! After that, for our big outing of the day, we went to the clinic for Tom to have his blood drawn & hopefully the results will still be looking good!
