A BIT BREEZY
I waited for the young people to head south, taking with them our biscuits and any unfinished wine to remove temptation from us (I kept the cake), and then went out for a quick trip to the Headland to be sandblasted in the name of fresh air and Blip. It was hard to hold the camera steady, and the birds were trying to shelter from the wind but here are a Curlew, and in the extras some Purple Sandpipers and a Sanderling. It was really odd to see the waves breaking on the breakwater in the "wrong" direction and for it to be flat calm on the other side. We're not used to westerly gales in these parts.
