The Clock Tower

This was Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale. It opened in 1877 as the Dearnley Workhouse and became a Hospital in 1930.  
It was closed in 2013. and Persimmon converted it into 44 contemporary apartments.
I'm so glad that the building was saved, along with the Clock Tower. It's very 'Victorian' and a very recognisable landmark in Rochdale.
