Oblivious

Mia is dozing and is totally unaware how our day went.
Firstly we learned early this morning that our son, Iain, who lives in Japan, and who had been suffering from a horrible mystery infection since last weekend was now being sent to hospital for more tests. No prizes for guessing what had been on our minds since we knew he was ill!! Bad news!
Then, we learned the tests hadn’t thrown up anything awful and that therefore he probably just has some Asian bug that he doesn’t yet have the antibodies to cope with. He’s been given more meds and sent home to rest. Good news! (We think)
Finally, this evening we went out to dinner to celebrate Martin and Katie’s birthdays this week, while keeping our fingers crossed that Iain is managing to get a good nights sleep and will wake up feeling a bit better.

And Mia knows none of this!
