Silk fan menu

In1954 my parents travelled from Sydney to Singapore and then on to Hong Kong on the MS "Tjiwangi", a Royal Interocean Lines passenger cargo liner which took Australian wool up to Japan and returned with clothing, textiles and small manufactured goods.
I have googled the Tjiwangi and found quite a bit of information about it. It said the facilities were rather opulent, with  library, writing room and two swimming pools.  It was described as an imitate size carrying only about 250 passengers with a magnificent restaurant that was two stories high with a fine balustrade on the upper deck looking down on the restaurant. My mother brought back some of the menus from that trip and their return trip on the Nieuw Holland.
