Going Down A Hole Training

It was that time again...for my 3 yearly ‘going down a hole’ training (also known as Confined Space Training)...I don’t like going down the hole with all the heavy breathing apparatus and harness etc and I only ever go down on my 3 yearly training course.

Years ago I used to do internal boiler inspections but not any more so today I requested and it was agreed that I could be let off having to do the full practical ‘going down the hole’ side of things...so I was trained to be the ‘supervisor’ at the top of the hole and I got to watch lots of other people go down the hole... and I get a certificate to say I am a trained ‘Top Man’....happy days!
