But headed down to the Tiq earlier than usual because Jack was having his work leaving-do; he retires next Friday to join the ranks of the pensioned leisure class (and to be one of Priti’s potential farm labourers/hod-carriers/carehome workers). Have to say, he lasted a ten hour stint amazingly well, just flagging a wee bit with a late rush of Macallans ‘forced’ on him by soon-to-be ex-colleagues!
