A very mixed day...

one minute a blizzard, followed by brilliant sunshine, continued like that all day!
Just before this shot, I was stuck in the lee of a single pine as horizontal snow on a very strong wind blasted me. Looking like a snowman, I retreated to the car and , having thawed and dried out was hot in the sun!!!
Quite exhilarating! At greater altitudes it would have been unpleasant, if not dangerous.
