Van Gogh Experience Leicester All Saints

It’s Ali’s bday today so me, Ali, T and A took off for Leicester to see the Van Gogh Immersive experience in an abandoned church. It was pretty awesome, I knew much about the life of Van Gogh after many trips to the museum in Amsterdam but this was something very different. Visual interpretations of his work were projected onto the church walls backed to music. When the floor illuminated to resemble the rolling sea that was something special. At the end of the experience you got to try out a virtual reality tour of the Arles landscape Van Gogh loves to paint - my first VR experience - fantastic

Had a lovely lunch in Bistro Pierre and then J taxi’s finished up the day dropping T and A off at Cov station and various girl guides home!

Off home for a well deserved rest
