Carrot Buddy

Corra showing off her new carrot toy I grabbed her on my Ikea excursion. She thinks it is the bestest. I bought her a giant one too which I specifically wanted to buy when I went into Ikea (who does that?), but she doesn't care for it, thank you very much. She's on our bed with the new fancy, schmancy duvet cover too :) I didn't need one, but the pattern made me gasp, so I bought it too! All purchases have been built and I even put up some curtains. Phew. Spent most of the day cleaning and rearranging the pantry and it felt awesome! Because yeaaaa, getting organized!

We also got a surprise check in the mail for quite a chunk of dollars. We had an escrow account with our old mortgage, and it has been coming back to us in dribs and drabs (why they didn't just cut one check is beyond me ...), however, this last one was a monster drab! Putting that away for a rainy day :D
