Derwentwater

Had a day in The Lakes, primarily to take some bedding and towels up to my static caravan. The new season starts next Sunday and I like to go up the week before just to make sure everything is ok.

Arrived to a hailstorm and surprisingly enough, left to one! Had a drive down to Derwentwater which was well flooded as you can see from my blip.

I got so cold taking photos that I had to take refuge in the cafe at The Theatre by the Lake which was no hardship. I had a well deserved cappuccino.

The drive home was pretty tedious but I made up for that by having a sourdough pepperoni pizza for my tea. I may treat myself to a beer later tonight.
