To aid film scanning:
 - Intrepid's enlarger kit - fail... and a very long wait to establish that;
 - Hamish Gill's Pixl-latr - not here yet, and also a very long wait, but at least Hamish keeps us updated with progress and the problems encountered;
 - another product only discovered a couple of weeks ago, and that arrived last weekend - the 35mm film version seems to be very good in the way it holds the film, and also in the amount of area that's visible around the exposed section.

Actual testing will determine if it will be suitable, but that third one does look promising.
