MPs

Tonight our new MP threw a party to thank the activists who worked on his election campaign - both halves of it. 

I went along for a while. It was good to catch up with him and get his thoughts after 2 months in Westminster. If you think the Tories are thugs .... Actually he spoke very highly of the Parliament staff - professional and helpful. In turn they like "our lot" because they treat the staff with respect. 

Apart from that - I will say nothing about weather - I got a lot done during the day. Most importantly, the holiday plans for next month are now finalised and bookings almost all made.
