I'm pleased to report that after what happened on Sunday night, last night was very peaceful and uneventful. Well, apart from the episode of the husband waking me with his titanic snoring at 4am (a swift kick in the shins soon sorted that one out). So hopefully we won't get any more creepy phone calls regarding the size of my feet.

Today has been a beautiful day. the sky is bright blue, the sun is shining and everywhere is covered in a white, glistening blanket of snow. Of course I've missed it all being stuck inside at work. Oh well. I got to finish early yesterday and play in the snow with H for a little while, so it's not all bad.

Day off tomorrow, so I'm making a plea to Mother Nature to please give me another day like today. Pretty please....

P.S. If anyone would be kind enough to inform me what these plants are that I photographed at the side of the road this morning (yes, it's another one of those blips), I'll be very grateful :)
