Rising Shadow

Under pressure as the sun was setting, I had to work quickly to find my photograph. No sooner had I decided on a composition and set up my tripod, than the scene changed as the shadows rose up through the foreground.

As it happened, that was quite useful because it focussed the light through the central area of the image emphasizing the glowing sunlight on the reeds.

I tried to make the snow a little bluish in contrast to all the oranges.
