Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount

The Muslim Dome of the Rock exists approximately where the Hebrew Temple was built, and re-built two additional times, on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The last being Herod the Great - and it was torn down by the Romans. This is also the place where it is believed that Abraham brought Isaac to be sacrificed before a reprieve from God because of his obedience.
