the very first blooming bud in the backyard. a clematis. the cecile brunner rose, lilac, curly willow, three peony plants and all six hydrangeas bushes seem to be coming up and budding just fine. across the street, the first pink cherry blossoms in the whole neighborhood are opening. i have high hopes for my plants this year. looking good so far...
