Naked Ladies....

All around the district clumps of Naked Ladies aka Amaryllis belladonna are pushing up their stalks from bare looking ground and bursting into beautiful dark pink flowers. They are such lovely flowers to be seen at the end of a very dry summer.
Son Duncan is staying for a couple of nights. He and I were out and about this morning visiting a garden center and harvesting pears growing in a local walkway.
