Knowing me, knowing you

Another early start to head to a little campsite just north of Águilas in Murcia - they are only open until 2pm on a Saturday so we wanted to make sure we arrived in time.

Fairly uneventful journey until we spotted a new, partially wrapped sofa in the road in the middle lane if a 3 lane motorway - cue swerving of cars to avoid it. About a mile down the road we spotted the car and trailer on the hard shoulder with the driver looking puzzled! The perils of not tying down your loads.

Made it to the site in plenty of time and got in touch with the friends we were meeting up with. Mandy came to collect us and we spent a very pleasant afternoon sitting on the terrace of their mountain home. Stunning scenery with views in every direction.
They brought us back to the site for a quick change before heading into the town for a buffet dinner before the main event - Abba Elite - a very talented tribute act. We sang along and danced our feet off before being dropped off just after midnight.
The event was in aid of a local charity and it would have been rude not to buy a raffle ticket and I won! A bottle of local lemon liqueur which I’m hoping is like limoncello.
Tried to capture the beautiful night sky and if you expand the extra you might just see what I think is Orion’s Belt!
