Creative Therapy
Us girls, instead of buying each other Christmas presents last year, decided to do some kind of activity together. Today was the day. We went along to a needle felting workshop in Happisburgh and had a fab day. H and me opted to make a wren (mine is the fat one that ate all the worms) and A made this cute mouse. It's amazing that you begin with a pile of sheep fleece and some bits of wire and end up with something worthwhile and pleasing after just a few hours. Not only that, but the whole process of sitting there with our wool and needles was just so relaxing, there were about 20 of us in the village hall and we just chatted away to each other, tea, coffee and cake was provided and we all had a brilliant day. Our teacher Lisa was lovely and really didn't need to intervene very much, just towards the end when we needed beaks, stands, wellies for the mice etc. Such a shame you weren't able to come along B, we missed you, but I'm sure we'll be doing another workshop before too long.
