Sunset over the Hangings

Mixed weather and after another start at trying to clear stuff from the attic, we headed off for a short walk down the Hangings. 
 
Often wondered why this lane has this name.  Looking it up, one of the 12th Century definitions is: “situated or lying on steeply sloping ground”.  Certainly steep.  Walking back up gets the heart pounding!
 
Start of a great sunset, and noted that Bucks County Council aren’t paying much attention to the potholes!
