Here comes the sun!

How wonderful to have a day with no rain, some blue sky and sunshine.
Just had to take a photo of this bunch of tulips with the light shining through the petals.

Today was our youngest granddaughter’s 19th birthday.
She was home for the day, and so we popped in to wish her Many Happy Returns and take her card and present.
I was so pleased she liked the card as it was one I bought when we were in Cornwall last year.
A reproduction of a painting, which was a sort of collage of many Cornish places which we both love.
She is going to put it up in her flat back at UNI.

Her favourite present was an electric crepe maker. ( bought by her mum, and something she had wished for) Just in time for pancake day.
She is taking it back with her and having a few friends round for a party on Tuesday.
Looking forward to seeing the photos she is going to send us.

We had a nice time catching up with everyone, including our other grandchildren.
