Toots in Solitude

Publisher and Provost once or twice I believe.
A rather different day than yesterday for today there was a lot of blue colouring in the sky and the trees branches hardly moved.
Towards late morning I gathered all the gear around me that I would need to begin creating a very special card, for a very special person, for a very special birthday that is coming along very soon.
Only I don't really feel confident or up to the task, did I say it needs to be very special?
Well, I did make a start on it.
The ideas in my head aren't the problem. They are really quite good. It will be a multi-faceted card with pertinent content.
There are times in my life I wish I had gone to Art College to just keep on experimenting and dabbling, perhaps then the fear would be less dominant.
Later I went out and when I returned I paid a little more attention to the card and then switched off, tomorrow is another day.

I understand that Princess Anne is being seen as a Fashion icon as she is, and always has been, right up to trend in todays awareness of not being a part of a throw-away society. She wears clothes from 30 years ago and I absolutely love that! Clothes should be made to last and one shouldn't care two hoots about trend or fashion. I love Charles and Anne.

In other news, when I went to spread my toast with marmite this morning the lid had not been replaced (how could I!) and the marmite was rock solid. That has never happened to me before. Luckily it was very nearly finished, just a wee bit left in the bottom.
