In vain

We waited in vain for Poppy to rock up today.  Her boss has blocked her escape hole.  We have spoken with the family, and I reckon they will let her come and play with the boys from time to time, which would be lovely.

In the meantime we are back to bees and purple flowers.  Lovely geranium attracting masses of insets.
