ACROBATICS....

.... on the water!

Went by the Penrith White Water Rafting venue today just in time to catch the Paddle Australia white water canoe disicipline where the paddler performs a range of acrobatic tricks and manoeuvres.


Well, perform they did! As always took far to many pics but a great record of the abilities - if you wish have a look at the Flickr Album here. A young chap Jack Newland from Victorian won with some amazing "style"! 
I reckon this one shows his "balance". 
Contact with Paddle Australia has directed me to this link here when he won Bronze at the  2019 ICF canoe freestyle world championships. Have a look just amazing balance and technique. Like the bit about training in his swimming pool!

And of course there had to be a bird or two.... here  and here!


For those interested check out our local World Champion sisters here and here. Jessica Fox the second pic is presently World Champ in her event, and won this one yesterday. Her younger sister Naoemie in the first shot is "hot on her heels".
