Mono Monday . . . Looking Down

This is looking down from our friend’s house to the lower paddock.  The morning light on the grass was lovely but I wasn't really taking my time to think about the shot.  
Any hoo we had a good drive through the night from Wellington to Rotorua.  There was very little traffic and it was a clear night.  We stopped and had a hot drink from our thermos and a sandwich twice and arrived here as our friend was getting up to start her day.  People think we are mad but we like driving at night and the miles flew by.  It has been a good day catching up with friends.  I did have a nap this afternoon and it will be an early night.
