Inveraray
Early into the car. Foul weather. Recharge in Inveraray, with soup at Brambles. Back at the car, it has hardly charged, so we stop again at Lochgilphead. I buy replacement locks. Claire plays cribbage.
At Tarbert we get the keys from Monica. The flat is mostly empty, stinks of dog and tobacco, carpets knackered, kitchen filthy, oven clarted in muck.
Then, back to Glasgow. Joe has broken his key in the front door, so I head off for Toolcentre for a replacement cylinder. And then it’s to BimBap for food. It’s way loud, but the food is good. Kimchi and tofu soup, boiling as it gets brought to the table.
Claire drives home, with me riding shotgun with the remnants of a bottle of Soju.
